This CD contains the full version of the 1871 Owners of Land, which was published by Parliament and acts as a census for the land-owning classes. In recent years members and friends of the Congleton Group of the Family History Society of Cheshire led by Sue Parker have transcribed all the Memorial Inscriptions at St Mary, Astbury. Bertram Merrell Cheshire Marriage Index

Bertram Merrell was the founder of the FHS of Cheshire, and over the past 25 years he has compiled a marriage index for most of the county, covering the years 1550-1837.
