This Burial Ground, recently excavated to make way for HS2, is featured in the BBC programme ‘Britain’s Biggest Dig’
One of our series of Monumental Inscriptions, this 88-page A5 booklet contains all the known monumental inscriptions of St James Hampstead Road, the burial ground which belonged to St James Piccadilly. This area was in the county of Middlesex but is now in the London Borough of Camden. The records were initially collected together by LWMFHS members in 1986. The burial ground was dug up in 2018 to make way for the HS2 train link at Euston.
