Description

This booklet contains a list of the main records of interest to the genealogical researcher for the area based on the ancient settlement of Pinner (which became a separate parish in 1766 after splitting with Harrow) and includes the districts of Bury Pond Hill, East End, Hatch End, Headstone, Hooking Green, Hyde End, Pinner Hill, Pinner Town, Rayners Lane, Royston Park, West End and Woodridings. This area was in the county of Middlesex but is now in the London Borough of Harrow. Apart from the vital records of the various religious denominations, examples of subjects covered in this booklet are court records, local directories and military matters. Details include where these records can be found, whether they are original hard-copy records, transcriptions in books, or on the internet.
