This booklet contains a list of the main records of interest to the genealogical researcher for the area based on the ancient parish of Islington and includes the districts of Archway, Barnsbury, Canonbury, Highbury, Holloway, Hornsey Rise, Tollington and Tufnell Park. This area was in the county of Middlesex but is now in the London Borough of Islington. Apart from the vital records of the various religious denominations, examples of subjects covered in this booklet are poll books, Jewish records and the streets of Islington in 1851.
