This booklet contains a list of the main records of interest to the genealogical researcher for the area based on the ancient parish of Finchley and includes the districts of Church End, East Finchley, Finchley Central, part of Hampstead Garden Suburb, North Finchley, Woodside Park and the part of Whetstone which is west of the Great North Road. This area was in the county of Middlesex but is now in the London Borough of Barnet.
