Indexes of Kent Poor Law Settlement, Removal and other associated documents. Their principal use to family researchers is in showing movement of families and individuals from parish to parish, not just paupers bur craftsmen and tradesmen also. The period covered is mostly 1662-1840, with a few earlier, and some on into the 1870s. The indexes are comprehensive, including any items relating to settlement where both parishes are given.
