We are pleased to offer the following publications from the Portsmouth Workers Education Association Local History Group. This is a splendid series entitled "Memories of..." covering various areas of Portsmouth. They contain fascinating detail of the streets and houses within the area using early records from the Portsmouth Record Office. They are an invaluable source of social history and detailed observation of daily life mainly from the 1920s and 30s, but also the 40s and 50s.
