Walmer Monumental Inscriptions

Description

Walmer monumental inscriptions recorded 1985-1990. These are inscriptions from headstones in the churchyard of the "old" church Blessed Mary of Walmer plus those in the "new" church St Mary's. A plan showing plots is included together with an index of names and a record from c1933 of memorials in the church. Later burials were in Hamilton Road Cemetery Deal and a transcript of those burial registers may be purchased from this website.
