The Recorder 1907-1916 : Data Archive Disc

Description

The Recorder was a local newspaper circulating in Palmers Green, Winchmore Hill and Southgate between November 1907 and July 1916 and is a valuable resource for historians. This disc contains all 150 issues of The Recorder with 3,119 pages, 311 containing photographs and other illustrations, and is searchable. All illustrations, including advertisements and announcements, also appear in a separate file. This digitisation project was conceived and completed by David Cooper in 2007. Please note - this is a data disc and can only be accessed through a DVD drive on a PC.
