The earliest register of this parish is badly fragmented and damaged but this transcript made in 1877 will be of great help to anyone who wishes to research this period. The events covered in this first book are as follows;

•Baptisms 1592 to 1687 (with a few to 1725) •Marriages 1577 to 1675 •Burials 1577 to 1681
