DVD PAL This film, produced for Southgate District Civic Trust to mark the millennium, records changes that have taken place in Southgate, New Southgate, Oakwood, Cockfosters, Palmers Green and Winchmore Hill over the preceding 50 years. Excerpts from a pioneering film of the old borough of Southgate made in the early 1950s by local photographer Edgar Chard have been used to help illustrate changes in the area.
