Lincolnshire Baptisms 1813-1837 Volume 4

Description

A transcript of baptism registers for the Church of England deaneries of Bolingbroke [BOL] Calcewaithe [CAL} Hormcastle [HOR] and Louth Esk [LOU]. Where the records are difficult to read, the Bishops Transcripts have been used as an alternative source. The source documents are in the main held at Lincolnshire Archives; however, in some parishes within Horncastle & Bolingbroke deaneries the registers remain in use at the church. In the case of Roughton (Horncastle Deanery) and Haugh (Bolingbroke deanery) it has not been possible to locate and access the registers. If given in the registers, the information will be: date of baptism, name of child and parents, parish, abode and occupation (usually of the father).
