Description

This is a 72 page book of Memorial Inscriptions for Langholm Wauchope Graveyard in the Parish of Langholm, Dumfriesshire. It was newly published in 2020 to make corrections, standardise the layout and provide a detailed index. It consists of 44 pages of inscriptions from 287 headstones. It is fully indexed by Surname and Forename. Vol 1 has a further 250 gravestones. As the previous book was re-published to provide a full index it needed to be produced as 2 volumes.

A Parish Map is included.

There are 3 other graveyards in Langholm Parish. The Old and Staplegordon Graveyards are the subject of separate books. There is a New Cemetery which has not been transcribed.
