This is a 32 page book of Memorial Inscriptions for Kirkmichael Garrel (old name Garvald) Old Churchyard in the Parish of Kirkmichael, Dumfriesshire. It was newly published in 2020 to correct some transcription errors, provide 40 added memorials, standardise the layout and provide a detailed index. It was previously part of a joint Kirkmichael and Garrel book. It consists of 14 pages of inscriptions from 120 headstones. It is fully indexed by Surname and Forename.

A Parish Map is included.

There is a separate book for Kirkmichael Parish Church and there is a New Cemetery called Gamerigg which has not been transcribed yet.
