At the beginning of the 20 th century Arthur L. Humphreys researched and published a series of books were entitled “Materials for the History of the Town and Parish of Wellington in the county of Somerset ”. This CD contain all four books that were published in this series, Part 1 – Wills of Wellington and West Buckland 1372 to 1811. Part 2 – Manorial Court Rolls 1277 – 1908 . Part 3 – The Independents (Non-conformist records including registers). Part 4 – The Baptists . In addition to these four volumes there is a copy of Humphreys own account of his childhood which is entitled “ When I Was A Boy ”.
