Description

This is an 84 page book of Memorial Inscriptions for Dryfesdale Parish Churchyard in the Town of Lockerbie in the Parish of Dryfesdale, Dumfriesshire. Also included is the older Dryfebridge Burial Ground. It was re-published in 2020 to correct some transcription errors, provide 474 added inscriptions, standardise the layout and provide a detailed index. It consists of 51 pages of inscriptions from 380 headstones. It is fully indexed by Surname and Forename.

A Parish Map is included. There are also photographs from the Garden of Remembrance for the Lockerbie Air Disaster on 21st December 1988.

There is a third graveyard in Dryfesdale Parish being the New Cemetery which contains the Lockerbie Air Disaster Garden of Remembrance and has not been transcribed yet.
