St Mary’s Church was built in 1885 as Doncaster population grew and entered the manufacturing age. Businesses built works and factories add to that the railway works and coal mines imagine how the work of the local Clergy grew. This CD reflects the work and lives of the local population. There are no burials recorded for this church because of the lack of space and of the families recorded here.
