Cossham memorial Hospital, Bristol

Description

A history of a hospital in east Bristol founded in 1907 with money left by Handel Cossham, local mine owner, philanthropist, mayor of Bath, and Liberal MP. The hospital was a general hospital in the voluntary sector until 1948, then in the NHS. From the 1980s it was confined to various combinations of specialties, and is now a diagnostic centre.
