Canterbury, Kent - Monumental inscriptions for the church of St Martin

Description

A survey of surviving headstones was one of the early projects undertaken by members of the Kent Family History Society and the inscription from 280 headstones were published in 1984 on microfiche 18. The remaining inscriptions were not published until 1995 on microfiche 1752 and included the inscriptions from more than 800 headstones in the churchyard and memorials inside the church. The download includes a plan of the churchyard plus a combined index to almost 2000 names from both publications plus copies of the original publications. Please note some stones may no longer be in situ.
