Compiled by Stuart Tamblin from official Admiralty documents at the Public Record Office for England & Wales and the United Kingdom. The fate (eg killed, died of wounds, prisoner of war) of each man is recorded and there are facts and figures for each ship in the British Fleet taking part in the Battle of Jutland on 31 May / 1 June 1916. There are seven subsidiary lists which give notes and point out the discrepancies found between the different sources. 6,378 ratings and 363 officers.
